Reading this reminds me of my previous room mate. That guy was one of the smartest individuals I know, but he was a little outlandish for my tastes though. Anyways I enjoyed reading this, thanks. Will give me something to argue about when I see him.

Proficient, thanks for sharing this info. Looks great on my iPhone, but on the Blackberry Pearl's browser your site comes out a little funky.

Great article. There's a lot of good information here, though I did want to let you know something - I am running Fedora with the current beta of Firefox, and the look and feel of your blog is kind of bizarre for me. I can understand the articles, but the navigation doesn't work so great.

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!

Hi - very good site you have made. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to issue a comment to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically sweet. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a merchandising firm. I have always enjoyed working with computers and am attempting to learn code in my free time (which there is never enough of lol).

Thanks for writing about this. There's a mass of good tech information on the internet. You've got a lot of that info here on your website. I'm impressed - I try to keep a couple blogs somewhat on-going, but it's a struggle sometimes. You've done a great job with this one. How do you do it?

The Trailblazer has the Legatia 831 setup run up front with the L8 woofer mounted in the door using custom adapters, the L3 mid range mounted in the spot the factory Bose tweeter would have been mounted and the LI tweeter molded into the pillars. all being run active through 2 Digital Designs SS4 amplifiers using each of the amplifier's internal bandpass options to achieve the correct crossover points. This truck is running a strong front stage only with no rear fill and is set up as a pure SQ (Sound Quality) vehicle only.

Recently we took the old subwoofer setup out which consisted of a custom fiberglass box out that housed 6 Digital Designs 1508 dual 4 ohm subwoofers which were powered by a Sundown SAZ-3000 amplifier. This was replaced but a PWK Designs horn box housing 2 Digital Designs 1508 subwoofers on a Digital Designs SS1a amplifier giving them only 750 watts rms for a crystal clear note that accentuates the Hybrid front stage, yet has more than enough kick for when the extra bass is wanted for daily driving.

The Infiniti is still running strong with the Clarus 6.5" component setup up front powered through the factory amplifier system in the car. a magnificent upgrade for those who are not wanting to go all out and upgrade the whole system.
